Ford Fiesta - This is Now

This is an amazingly cool commercial for a very bland product. I find the editing in this spot just amazing. In order to pull it off the thought, storyboarding and pre-production planning that went into this must of been insane. I also love the hints of Michel Gondryesque portions of the commercial.

The spot was made by Ogilvy & Mather. The creative team behind it was Andy Bird (art) and Sue Higgs (copy) with Camilla Herberstein as creative director. The spot was directed by Scott Lyon from Outsider films.

Peepshow

Recently, Coke hired Publicis Mojo and Exit Films to create 3 short films, for their new nergy drink ‘Burn’. The three films are Peepshow (directed by Jonathan Hill), Ride (directed by Garth Davis) and Playground (directed by Glendyn Ivin).

'Get A Mac' - The Complete Campaign

Adfreak recently posted a complete timeline of the 'Get A Mac' Ad Campaign done by TBWA. All of the 66 commercials, were directed by Phil Morrison of Epoch Films for TBWA Media Arts Lab. Whether you're a Windows user or a Mac user you have to admit that these spots were pretty funny. The last 'Get A Mac' spot was aired back in October 2009, and I'm a bit unsure if Apple will be able to progress with these ads do to the seeming success of Microsoft's Windows 7. I guess only time will tell.
